DescriptionThe hotel Vila Galé Albacora is the result of the restoration of the former tuna fishing camp and is integrated in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa in Tavira. This hotel in Tavira, is a true eco-hotel that has received awards and recognition for its sustainable environmental practices and where the activities related to nature tourism is a major strength. The old fishermen houses were converted into rooms with history and tradition and with beautiful views of the Ria Formosa. The hotel also has a museum dedicated to the art of tuna fishing that tells us about the stories of the people connected to this activity. The hotel has a bar, a restaurant with typical cuisine and Algarve specialties that favours local products, an outdoor pool and a spa with indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath and massage rooms.
